A suspended Roman Catholic priest facing 22 sex related charges, returns to Moncton court today.
Eight complainants have come forward with accusations against 71-year-old Yvon Arsenault. His charges include gross indecency, and indecent assault.
The complaints originate from incidents in the early 1970’s to mid 1980’s in several communities including Shediac, and involve young boys.
Arsenault served as a priest in numerous New Brunswick communities, but most recently at Saint Augustines and St. Michael’s. He was removed from the ministry in 2012.
