Summer School Starts Next Week For Students In Anglophone East

Most students are looking forward to rest and relaxation away from class, starting next week, but for those who may have failed a class, they will
spend an extra month hitting the books.

Summer school runs from June 24th until July 24th, and is offered for grades 6 through 12. It is held at Moncton High.

Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Anglophone East Elizabeth Nowlan says these are courses that are offered through a private organization, and most schools have already referred students that have not been successful in completing a course.

For grades 6 through 8, it may not be that they have failed a class. A school recommend that summer school would benefit them.

There is a fee for summer school. For one course it’s $200, and $360 for two courses.
