Summer is officially here!
The new season arrived in New Brunswick at 7:34 last night.
But after a recent round of cold and wet weather, is summer-like weather here to stay?
Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote says the end of spring and the start of summer has been a rollercoaster ride.
“Definitely, we are just going from one major extreme of temperature to another… from well below to well above normal,” notes Cote.
However, Cote says he’s optimistic temperatures in the short-term will be mostly above normal in Southern New Brunswick.
