Summer Camp Teaches History Of Labour Movement To Youth

It’s not your usual summer camp.

31 youth are attending the 15th annual Blair Doucet Youth Summer Camp this week, being held at U de M.

The camp is hosted by the New Brunswick Federation of Labour, and it is named after former President Blair Doucet, who passed away in 2009.

Campers learn about the history of the labour movement, their rights as workers and the labourer’s role in society.
