Strong Construction Year In 2022 For Riverview

Construction was booming in the Town of Riverview in 2022.

They had a total of 192 permits worth more than $34 million.

Seventy-three were residential projects, representing over $27 million, that’s up over 2021 figures and represents close to a million more in investments.

For commercial and institutional, there were 20 permits authorized.

“2021 was our strongest year to date for building permits, and in 2022 we saw many of those projects come to life. Even with supply chain challenges and labour shortages affecting the construction industry, it’s very rewarding to see the economic growth we’ve experienced in recent years,” says Mayor Andrew LeBlanc.
