Storage Warehouse in Shediac River Destroyed By Fire

The cause of a fire in a storage warehouse in Shediac River is under investigation.

Captain Julien Boudreau says the fire was well underway in a portion of the building when they arrived on Thursday night at around 10 o’clock.

He says water had to be trucked in, and it spread very quickly making it challenging to fight.

Around 30 firefighters from Shediac and Cocagne battled the blaze.

They were on scene until around 3:30 this morning putting out hot spots.
