Stolen Dog Reunited With Owner

A happy ending for a dog-owner whose four-legged friend was taken from a home off Coburg Street in uptown Saint John.

Sergeant Jay Henderson says the pooch was reported missing and possibly stolen, by its owner on Saturday and police launched an investigation. A 23-year-old woman from the Waterloo Street area was arrested and then released with a future court date. She’s facing a charge of possession of stolen property.

The chihuahua mix named Muwin has been returned to its rightful owner.
