MONCTON, N.B. – Some sections of St.George Street in Moncton are closed to vehicle traffic this afternoon for a street party.
The inaugural edition of the St. George Street Celebration runs until 6 p.m.
Activities will include salsa dancing, musical entertainment, bouncy castles and street art.
There will also be food booths.
St.George Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Cameron to Robinson to allow for the festival, although some intersections will be open to let traffic cross St.George.
The city is asking drivers to use alternate routes if possible.
