Spring Weather Outlook Paints Bleak Picture For NB

The Weather Network has unveiled its spring outlook and it’s not exactly great news for New Brunswick.

Meteorologist Doug Gilham says temperatures will slowly get warmer as the season progresses.

But given all of the snow we have, Gilham says a slow melt might be a positive thing.

“The threat for flooding is real. It’s something that we will have to monitor. All it would take would be one storm with warm temperastures and heavy rain and you would have a big problem.”

The storm track continues to look active this spring according to Gilham which means we can expect above normal precipitation for the province.
