The melt is expected to begin this week, and even though it will be awhile before all of the white stuff is gone, we’re bound see some of the dreaded holes on streets and highways, that can do a lot of damage to our vehicles.
They’re known as pot holes, and with the amount of snow and cold temperatures we’ve had this week, it’s expected there will be a lot of them.
JP Beliveau of JP’s Garage in Dieppe says it’s important that you have your tire pressure checked, because if you hit a pothole without the proper pressure, you’ll cause a lot more pressure.
He says it’s also important to have your alignment checked.
The best way to handle pot holes is to slow down, and drive more defensively.
If you’re someone who likes to hit those pot holes at high speed, be prepared for a hit on your pocketbook. The repairs on your vehicle could prove to be very costly.
