If you’ve never spent a day in Cap-Pelé, let us show you why it’s one of our favourite places to visit.
We started the day by setting up at Gagnon Beach Campground, one of our go-to campgrounds. The best part? The beach is only a few steps from our campsite, so you can’t beat the view.
The campground was hosting a seafood boil, and for just $50 we got lobster, shrimp, crab legs, mussels, crawfish, corn, and potatoes. Safe to say we didn’t leave hungry!

After lunch, we jumped on our e-bikes and headed out to explore the local trails. Somewhere along the ride we spotted a sign for lobster rolls at Cône du Coin, and you know we had to stop. This wasn’t just a good lobster roll—it was packed with lobster! I even asked the owner if they made ours extra big because, every now and then, someone recognizes me from TikTok. She laughed and said, “Nope, that’s the regular size!” For $19.99, it’s an absolute must-try.

Since it’s Strawberry Fest in Cap-Pelé, our next stop was Boutique Chez Véronique for their signature strawberry dessert. It was incredible! A few of the girls working there recognized us from TikTok and insisted we try a couple of their customer favourites too. Who are we to argue?

With all that amazing food, we figured we’d better earn it, so we went for a longer bike ride to Aboiteau Beach, home to the internationally recognized Blue Flag eco-certification. We relaxed by the water, enjoyed a cold local CAVOK beer, and soaked in the view.
Then it was back to the campground just in time to catch one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve seen in a long time.
Some days just remind you how lucky we are to have places like Cap-Pelé right here in New Brunswick. Great food, friendly people, beautiful beaches, and memories that are pretty hard to beat. If you haven’t been lately, maybe this is your sign to plan a visit!
