It’s the perfect time of year to honour and remember someone who has touched your life.
Hospice Greater Moncton Executive Director Joanne Adair says they’ve launched a fundraiser that will help you to do just that.
All you have to do is purchase an angel ornament with a donation for Hospice Greater Moncton, and all of the funds go towards the free palliative services they provide.
Adair says they hope to eventually build a facility where those who are dying do not not need to be in a hospital, they can be in a setting much like home, and still get the medical and emotional support they need.
You can purchase the angel ornaments at the Hospice Shoppe on Mountain Road. There are also several place that trees are being set up where you can view the hanging ornaments.
They are: Turner’s Christmas at the Coliseum from November 21 to 23rd
Walmart on Plaza Boulevard from November 30 to December 8th
Walmart in Dieppe from November 30 to December 13th
At the Fairhaven Funeral Home on Salisbury Road or at the Hospice Shoppe
A candlelight remembrance ceremony will also be held on December 9th at 7 o’clock at the Fairhaven Funeral Home.
