If you’re looking for a way to give back this Christmas, but you can’t afford to buy anything extra, why not volunteer your time?
What Kids Need Moncton is in need of helpers to make deliveries for its Snowflake Campaign.
They are collecting toys and other items for families in need, but they need to get the donations out.
Founder Amanda Pooley says so far they have around 500 registered children. One company steps up to help each year, but they can always use others, “We’re looking to deliver on December 20th this year. We always have Martel Homes, who send in some of their employees with about five trucks to help, but we certainly can always use more volunteers. We always have hundreds of families to get delivery that day.”
They can also need assistance sorting through the donations, to divide the presents up.
