The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be flying across the country to salute Canadians doing their part to fight the spread of COVID-19.
This unique mission is being aptly dubbed ‘Operation Inspiration’.
The team kicks off their cross-Canada tour in Nova Scotia today and will be moving west throughout the week.
The squadron will take off from Greenwood at about 2:30 this afternoon, flying east along the coast of the Bay of Fundy.
They’ll be over Colchester County at about 2:50, Halifax for 3 p.m. before heading northwest, back to Greenwood.
This will follow a fly over Saint John at 10:40 this morning and Fredericton around 11.
The Snowbirds say this is DAY 1 of the tour and will be posting locations, routes and times for the rest of the tour to their social media accounts daily.
