The Smile Cookies at Tim Hortons are back! They’re smiling, grinning and maybe even winking. The joy of finding out what smile cookie you got, isn’t the only fun thing about them- all proceeds go to local organizations and groups! In The Greater Moncton area 100% of the Smile Cookie proceeds go to Timbits Minor Sports Coaching Aids & Clinics. This means many local kids get to enjoy sports and sporting opportunities without hard financial burdens.
I was excited to take a bite of my first smile cookie and was surprised! It was in fact delicious but the icing on the cookie now has a fruity flavour. At first, I was confused, and was trying to remember my last Smile Cookie experience- did they always taste like this? Although the berry like flavour on the blue and pink icing was a pleasant surprise, I needed to figure out if I was just having a sugar rush or if this was true.
