Slight Price Increase For Gas And Diesel

New Brunswick drivers will be paying more during their next trip to the gas station.

Gasoline prices went up by nearly a cent when the Energy and Utilities Board reset prices on Wednesday night.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve is sitting at just under $1.89 per litre.

Diesel prices climbed by nearly two cents per litre to a new maximum of just over $2.00 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

The price for heating oil also went up by nearly two cents. The most you will now pay is just over $1.79 per litre.

Propane prices fell by nearly a cent to a maximum of around $1.21 per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
