A slight drop in gas prices is expected this week.
That’s according to Dan McTeague, Senior Petroleum Analyst with Gasbuddy.com.
He says prices will likely be a little bit less than last week.
“Not looking at much of a change, you’re likely to see about a penny decrease, maybe a penny and a half,” says McTeague. “It really depends on the forward averaging as well as the discretion of a lot of retailers.”
McTeague says he expects a similar drop in the price of diesel as well.
“At about 1.6 it too is slated to drop a little bit, we’re getting well through the winter time period so it’s always good to see prices dropping,” says McTeague.
The Energy and Utilities Board makes its adjustment at midnight.
