Skills Canada National Competition In Moncton Wraps Up

The Moncton Coliseum will be a bit quieter today.

The Skills Canada National Competition has wrapped up, and the over 7500 students from across the country, along with other skilled trades celebrities have left.

Competitions were held in over 45 skilled trades challenges in technology sectors including transportation, construction, and manufacturing. Over 200 medals were handed out. Nine of those medals went to competitiors from New Brunswick.

Prospects were also announced for the World Skills Abu Dhabi competition that will be held in October next year.

The next Skills Canada National Competition will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba next May..
