SJ Police Say Acadia Broadcasting Not Only Place Suspect Targeted

Yesterday the news came to us when a man came into our offices at 58 King Street rifling through desks, and, after being chased up King Street by a worker, pulled out a knife – but the Saint John police say we weren’t the only target.

Sergeant Lori Magee says they received other calls about him entering apartments in the uptown area as well and the last call was to St. Joseph’s hospital for a theft of wallet from a nurse.

Magee says the accused, a 53-year-old man, was eventually apprehended on Speedy Muffler on City Road and taken into custody arrested for numerous offences.

Those include robbery, theft and weapon-related offences.
