Six Lost ATVers Rescued In Kings County

Six people are back home safe and sound after becoming lost in the woods in Kings County.

Brian Hunter, chief of the Simonds Fire Department, said the call came in around 6:45 a.m. Sunday.

Hunter said they were told six people on all-terrain vehicles had been lost on a trail for six hours.

Firefighters got their GPS coordinates and located them just outside of Ryan’s Farm in Barnesville by mid-morning Sunday.
