When Shediac set out to reclaim the record for the longest lobster roll, they meant business.
And they succeeded with a lobster roll that spanned 224 feet.
More than 50 volunteers helped to construct the roll that was made of lobster, of course, mixed with mayonaisse and a bit of celery.
The second best part was consuming the lobster roll.
Many people purchased tickets for $25, and they all found out what a record setting lobster roll tastes like.
Charlottetown, PEI and Shediac, NB have been battling back and forth for the record for several years.
