Shediac RCMP have arrested a 73-year old man in relation to the seizure of 485 marijuana plants.
Around 1 o’clock Saturday morning, police responded to a call of a hosue fire at a home on Railway Avenue in Shediac.
In the course of the call, officers observed possible illegal activity, and a search warrant was obtained.
In the residence, officers discovered a multi stage marijuana grow op with 485 plants.
The man was released pending a court appearance August 28th and the investigation is ongoing.
