Service New Brunswick Reopens Some Centres

Some Service New Brunswick centres are reopening Monday for essential services only.

Nine centres will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, including Saint John, St. Stephen, Fredericton and Moncton.

“However, to help ensure the safety of staff and the public, New Brunswickers are urged not to visit a centre unless necessary. Customers are urged to go online as their first option,” said a news release from Service New Brunswick.

The number of customers allowed at one time will be restricted and cash payments will not be accepted. People looking to receive non-essential services will not be allowed in.

Service New Brunswick has created a list of which services are essential and which are non-essential.

The provincial agency said it is working on a plan to safely open more centres in the coming weeks.

Customers are encouraged to stay home and check what services can be conducted online. TeleServices is also available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1-888-762-8600.
