UPDATE: Fatal Crash Closes Highway In Petitcodiac

A Riverview man has died after a single vehicle crash near Moncton.

RCMP believe the 57-year-old driver lost control on Highway one in Petitcodiac, and hit a guardrail.

He died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The collision closed the highway for several hours on Sunday night at around 6:45pm.

RCMP, Salisbury Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to the scene.
