Senior Levels Of Gov’t Offer Support To St. Pat’s Family Centre

The provincial and federal governments have both expressed a desire to toss a lifeline to the recently closed St. Pat’s Family Centre.

Finance minister Cathy Rogers says the centre is highly valued in the community.

She says many Moncton residents including herself have been a part of it over the years.

“I have reached out and spoken to the current board of directors, offered that the province would be at the table to help them. But first of course we need some information on what the challenges are,” she says.

Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe MP Ginette Petitpas Taylor also wants to learn more information from the board going forward but she adds her office has already reached out and is willing to help if possible.
