The Summer Employment Experience Development program in New Brunswick is officially underway.
It provides funding to create summer job opportunities for post secondary students.
16 hundred students are participating in the program that runs until September 8th.
Placements include university, college and high school students. About 68 per cent of students in the program are working for non-profit organizations. Others are in municipalities, or with the private sector.
