Second Man Charged In Moncton Shooting Investigation

A second Moncton man has been charged in an ongoing shooting investigation in the Whitney Avenue and Argyle Street area of the city.

Fifty-four-year-old Stanley Smith is facing an aggravated assault charge and remains in custody.

Thirty-one-year-old Joshua Belliveau has already been charged with assault causing bodily harm.

Codiac RCMP say three men were injured in last Wednesday’s incident and one suffered a gunshot wound.

All have since been released from hospital.

Meantime, police are still looking for 44-year-old Marcel Prevost as a person of interest.

He is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
