Mounties say they have not given up their search for a Chipman man missing for more than five years.
James Austen MacKey was reported missing in November of 2012 after his vehicle was found abandoned on Harley Road, just northeast of the village.
An RCMP helicopter, police dog, and ground search and rescue crews scoured the area, but could not find the 58-year-old man.
Const. Phil Brannon says now that spring is here, there will be more people out and about and perhaps in the woods who may see something.
“If anyone is in the Redbank area near the Harley Road and comes across anything unusual that they think may help us, please call police,” says Brannon.
