Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Man Facing Arson Charge

Charges have been laid in connection with a fire at a business in Bouctouche.

La Taverne à Joe on Irving Boulevard was destroyed by fire on November 3rd.

Forty-year-old Ricky Belliveau of Saint-Marie-de-Kent is facing an arson charge.

He will return to court on Wednesday for a bail hearing.

RCMP also arrested a 44-year-old woman from Saint-Louis-de-Kent, but she was released and will appear in court at a later date.
