Nearly a hundred people turned up to a consultation meeting to put their two cents in when it comes to the future of Partridge Island.
The Partridge Island Committee’s representative for the Irish community Marijke Blok tells us now may be the perfect time to really step up tourist interest in the province calling the island a wonderful place.
Nearly everyone in the room held up their hand when asked if they’ve ever been on the island.
The committee is charged with coming out with a report detailing their vision for the development of the island that will be sent to all three levels of government by the end of October.
This meeting one of several to be hosted by the Glenn Group who will summarize what people have to say and report back to the committee with their findings.
