Saint John places 4th at U22 Men’s Baseball Nationals

A fourth-place finish for New Brunswick at the Men’s U22 National Baseball Championship in Dartmouth.

The Saint John Junior Alpines fell to Manitoba 4-0 in the bronze medal match on Sunday afternoon.

Saint John finished the round-robin portion of the tournament with three wins and one loss.

They then went on to beat host Nova Scotia in the quarter-finals but fell to Ontario 2 in the semifinals.

The Alpines clinched a spot in the championship after winning the New Brunswick Junior Baseball League title in 2023.
