Thousands of New Brunswickers will be heading to Prince Edward Island over the next couple of days, as their favourite musicians hit the stage in Cavendish.
RCMP will be on full alert to ensure concert goers are safe.
The Cavendish Beach Music Festival brings a lot of visitors to PEI. Many of them will occupy campsites and other accomodations, and will be travelling to and from the concert site.
A traffic plan has been established to ensure a safe entrance and exit to and from the venue.

RCMP say their priority is safety for the three days.
Expect thousands of walkers and vehicles, and RCMP say that is going to make things challenging each evening. Signage has been posted….and motorists and walkers are asked to follow them….
The is the seventh year for the Festival that sees big name country musical artists on stage in Cavendish.
