Sackville RCMP release sexual assault suspect sketch

Mounties are looking for help to identify a suspect in a three-year-old sexual assault investigation.

Police are not saying much about the incident, only that it happened in Sackville in October 2020.

On Thursday, investigators released a composite sketch of the suspect in hopes someone can identify him.

“We are hoping the sketch will help identify the suspect and provide information that might further the investigation,” Sgt. Eric Hanson with the Sackville RCMP said in a news release.

“If you recognize him, please call police. Any bit of information helps.”

The suspect is described as approximately 5’11” tall with a slim build and a tattoo of a sword on his face. He was wearing a surgical mask at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sackville RCMP at 506-533-5151 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
