UPDATE: Sackville Memorial Hospital Closed Until Monday

Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital (SMH) Emergency Department (ED) is now closed until Monday due to a water main break.

It will reopen at 8 am.

The hospital was unexpectedly forced to close its ED over the weekend due to the break.

All patients requiring emergency medical care will need to be treated at another hospital, and ambulances will be diverted.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Horizon is encouraging Sackville-area residents to use other options as well, including Tele-Care 811; pharmacies; virtual care, such as eVisitNB.ca; and after-hours clinics.
