Royal LePage Releases House Price Survey

A recent survey by Royal LePage shows mixed results when it comes to home prices in the region.

The average price of a standard two-storey home in Metro Moncton ended 2014 up 7.5 per cent year-over-year to almost 152 thousand while at the same time, detached bungalows declined by 2.8 per cent.

Looking ahead to 2015, Royal LePage anticipates that that prices will remain relatively flat but activity will perk up as a result of increasing consumer confidence. It expects a stronger market as compared to the last couple of years.

Nationally, average home prices showed modest to healthy year-over-year gains in most markets in the fourth quarter of 2014.
