Robert Pickton dies from injuries after prison attack

Canada’s most notorious serial killer has died after being attacked in a Quebec prison.

Robert Pickton died in the hospital on Friday, according to Correctional Service Canada.

He was hospitalized after being attacked by another inmate at Port-Cartier Institution on May 19.

Pickton, 74, was convicted of six counts of second-degree murder in 2007.

However, the remains or DNA of 33 other women were later found on Pickton’s pig farm in Port Coquitlam.
