Riverview Mayor Says Town Saw Growth In 2014

Riverview continued to grow in 2014 as the town focused on expanding its commercial tax base especially in the Findlay Park area.

Mayor Ann Seamans says keeping up with infrastructure can be a challenge but some projects including Trites Road were included this year.

Seamans says the town also put a focus on its active transportation plan, by putting in road lanes and signage. They also took over the grooming for the cross country trails and signage there as well, to help keep our community active.”

Seamans says much of the growth in Riverview has been in the residential sector but she adds the town continues to strive for increased commercial development.
