The addition of over 200 jobs at a new call centre at Riverview Place is very exciting news, that from Riverview Mayor Anne Seamans.
She says the west end of the Town was a little slower and this will help bring life to that part of town,”The West end of Town was a little slower and here we have this announcement, and another business opening on Saturday. That is really bringing some life to the West end of Riverview. Also, to see this mall, filled with people working there is wonderful. This is also going to bring more businesses to the region.”
Tech Mahindra is an Indian-based IT company that will be looking for employees to work mostly in digital customer service jobs for large retail clients.
Seamans says this is great news for all of Greater Moncton, “There will be people who choose to live in Riverview, Moncton or in Dieppe, and that is why we are always celebrate anything that happens in the Tri-Community.”
It will open on August 16th.
The last business to announce it was moving to Riverview Place was Giant Tiger. It will officially open its doors on Saturday..
