Riverview Man Sentenced For Uttering Death Threats

A 19 year old Riverview man faces 60 days in jail among other things for uttering threats to police officers.

David Earl Crawford was sentenced yesterday in Moncton Court for uttering death threats, causing a disturbance and breaching an undertaking to police.

The last charge was dropped, and he is allowed to serve his time on weekends – and after his jail time is up, he will be on 12 months probation.

He also must seek assessments for mental health issues and addiction, as well as not use drugs or alcohol.

He was also fined 300 dollars.

Crawford was found guilty of uttering threats at a flower memorial for the fallen RCMP officers in June.

Top Cop Roger Brown was at the scene of the memorial at the time and was responsible for arresting Crawford.
