Riverview East Is Among Three NB Schools Receiving Bomb Threats

A stressful day for parents, students and staff at Riverview East School.

Anglophone East School District locked down the school after a bomb threat was called in.

Emergency responders were on scene as a precaution but the threat turned out to be unfounded.

Similar incidents took place around the same time at a school in Saint John and another in Fredericton.

Police believe the call may have been internet-based.

There are no suspects at this time but police are still looking into it.
