More than a metric tonne of waste was cleaned up from parks, trails and open spaces in the Town of Riverview during the annual Community Clean-Up Day.
All schools in Riverview also took part this year, mostly on Earth Day.
Free gloves, bags and a dumpster were provided by area sanitation services.
The town reminds residents the clean-up will continue until June 3rd with free bags and gloves available at the Parks and Rec Department on Biggs Drive during regular business hours.
