Riverview Athlete To Compete At 2015 Special Olympics World Games

A Special Olympics athlete from Riverview is getting the opportunity of a lifetime.

David Tatta is in Los Angeles with his coach Jason Agnew, ready to compete in the 2015 World games.

Executive Director for Special Olympics New Brunswick Josh Astel says Tatta has been competing as a swimmer for the past 9 years.

He joined the Special Olympics to make new friends.

Tatta was selected to go to Worlds after his performance at Nationals last summer in Vancouver. He medalled at all eight of his events.

Competition begins on Saturday and runs until August 2nd..
