Review Into June 4th Shooting In Moncton To Be Released Today

Details of an independent review of last year’s fatal shooting of three RCMP officers, will be released this morning.

The comprehensive review and they’ll also release an action plan, that will address recommendations that come out of the review.

It was ordered by RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson in July to determine whether anything could have been done to prevent the deaths.

Constables Doug Larche, Dave Ross and Fabrice Gevaudan were shot and killed in Moncton on June 4 last yearnd Constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen, were injured.

Twenty-four-year-old Justin Bourque pleaded guilty in August to three counts of first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in August

He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 75 years.
