Registration is now underway for the fifth annual “Crossroads Run Walk Relay” which will be held this fall.
The event raises money for Crossroads for Women in Moncton.
Chairperson Andree Savoie says the relay continues to raise awareness about the area shelter for women and children.
“We’ve accomplished to date, a donation of $296,000 for Crossroads (for Women). Our initial goal was $250,000. We get more participants every year and people know Crossroads now,” she notes.
The event will have three competitions – the individual run or walk 2K, the 10K relay and the kid’s run.
The organizing committee hopes to raise $25,000 on September 25th at Dieppe’s Rotary Park.
