It was unusually warm across the province yesterday, and that meant record breaking temperatures.
Greater Moncton was the hot spot reaching a high of 17.6 degrees, that breaks the old record of 16.1 set back in 1959.
Records were also set in several other areas including Bouctouche, with a high of 17.2 degrees, breaking an old record from 1991 of 10.4, and in Alma with a high of 15.3.
Warm temps are expected again today with Environment Canada forecasting a high of 14 for Greater Moncton.
Don’t get too comfortable with this unseasonable weather. Environment Canada has also issued a special weather statement for Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick with the potential for significant snowfall possible Wednesday night and Thursday.
