A record number of cyclists pedalled their way across New Brunswick in support of cancer research.
More than 140 cyclists crossed the finish line yesterday at Assomption Place, after travelling more than 650 kilometres as a part of the Tour of Hope.
It was the eighth year for the event, and it also raised a record amount of $250,000.
Funds raised will be used for several purposes including purchasing specialized equipment for the Dr. Leon-Richard Oncology Centre..
