Recall issued for Belleisle Farms coleslaw

The Canadian Food Inspection agency has issued a recall for a brand of coleslaw sold in stores in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Roy Pope and Sons is voluntarily recalling its 227 gram packages of Belleisle Farms garden fresh coleslaw, with a best before date of August 19th.

Anyone who has purchased this product is advised to throw it out, or return it to the store where it was purchased.

There have been no illnesses reported in connection with this recall.
