RCMP will provide an update on the implementation of a review carried out following the Moncton shootings.
The independent review was done by RCMP retired Assistant Commissioner Alphonse MacNeil and was released about a year ago.
The 180-page report contained recommendations including equipping Mounties with carbine rifles and better training.
Three officers were killed and two others were injured on June 4, 2014 during the Moncton shootings.
RCMP will hold a media briefing this afternoon at 2 o’clock.
