RCMP seek public’s help to identify Moncton assault suspect

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help to identify a man linked to an aggravated assault in Moncton.

Police said the assault happened around 2:45 a.m. on May 5 outside a business on Main Street.

Mounties reported that the victim suffered a broken nose, and the suspect left the area before officers arrived.

Investigators explained that the man they are trying to identify has a slim build, black hair that falls just above his shoulders, and a tattoo on his right shoulder.

Police have released surveillance photos in hopes someone may recognize him.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506‑857‑2400.

Police said tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑222‑TIPS (8477), the P3 Mobile App, or through Secure Web Tips.
