The search continues for the driver of a pick up truck who left the scene of a fatal crash on Route 116 in Bass River.
A preliminary investigation by RCMP indicates that an eastbound car collided with a pick up truck that may have been trying to pull out of a driveway.
The 19-year-old driver of the car, a man from Bass River, died at the scene.
Two passengers, a 20-year-old man from Fords Mills and a 19-year-old man from Bass River were rushed to hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the pick up truck fled the scene on foot, and police later determined that the pick up truck had been stolen from a business on Route 126 in the Indian Mountain area.
The names of the victims have not been released.
